What Will My Child Do?

After your child has been placed into the appropriate group, lessons will be planned accordingly. The main literacy focus will be spelling, phonics, grammar, punctuation and sentence construction. In numeracy there will be a focus on mental maths, consolidating different methods of basic calculation and applying maths in context.

Learning should be fun and whilst there will be written work there will also be a variety of practical activities, personalised worksheets and puzzles etc. All children learn differently and I will adapt lessons to support their individual learning style.
